Chaewon Ahn is an architect, urban designer, and data visualization specialist. Currently, she is a research fellow at the SENSEable City Laboratory at MIT. She was trained as an architect at the Korea National University of Arts, and continued her master’s studies in the Architecture and Urbanism in the SMArchS program at MIT. The penetrating desire in her work has been to use space as means to speak about what human relationships are like, and should be like. She discovered the opportunities big data offers to in understanding human interaction with the city through the studies at MIT.
